The Roaring Fork Internet Users Group (ROFINTUG) is a non-profit, educational internet service provider. Founded in the Spring of 1995 by Richard Sherman and John Seamons, ROFINTUG was the first local provider of dial-up Internet access, e-mail, website, and Usenet newsgroup services in the Roaring Fork Valley. The Name was changed to ROF.NET in 2006. ROF.NET was founded on the generous donation of time, equipment and monetary donations from members of the local community. In recognition of his seminal activities in the founding of the organization, The Roaring Fork Computer Society confers the honorary title of Guru-For-Life upon Nick de Wolf. Our Non Profit Goals:
1. To provide affordable, reliable access to the Internet.
2. To continually invest our available resources into new equipment and technologies for the benefit of our Members while maintaining affordability of the services provided. ROF.NET is committed to providing high quality, low cost service to our members and to increase the available services as our system resources improve. We want to thank all the members who have expressed their support for us by joining and the volunteers who have given their valuable time and effort.
