How do I set-up my e-mail account?
I can't send any mail, what could be wrong?
A: One common reason this happens is because your Internet provider (Qwest, Comcast, or Public WiFi has blocked port 25, which is a common port used to send email messages. Some providers have started blocking port 25 in an effort to cut down on the number of spam messages flowing through their networks.
If you are have a rof.net email address, change your SMTP Port to 26.
If you do not have a rof.net address, (a hosted domain address for example) the best course of action is to contact your Internet provider and request port 25 to be unblocked.
Other reasons why you cannot send mail could include firewall issues, anti-virus issues, and email client configuration issues. Usually the fastest way to narrow down the problem is to call our tech dept so we can walk you through the troubleshooting process.
